Who is Ranger Stu?

Stu's love of animals can be traced back to one of his first memories - cuddling a guinea pig at a farm as a 3 year old!

Throughout his childhood Stu had a wide variety of animals including rodents, fish, frogs, and reptiles. He even hid pygmy mice under his bed from his parents.


Behind the scenes Stuart lives with his wife Kayleigh and sons Jacob and Oliver where they share their home with many interesting and unusual pets including Ralph the blind, abandoned, Romanian street dog!

Stu's engaging manner has seen him work in some iconic venues such as his regular spot at The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, Hamleys, National Geographic Kids and several television and radio appearances including his numerous appearances on Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch'.

Stu is fully insured and carries all licenses required to present at your event.

Stu has a wealth of knowledge on animals and an extensive memory when it comes to facts, which make him a firm favourite with all children.

Cedars Nature Centre

Did you know Ranger Stu owns and runs a zoo!


Back in 2016 Ranger Stu created Cedars Nature Centre, a community zoo based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.

It took over a year to complete but in August 2017 Cedars Nature Centre opened to the public and he has loved every day since!

CNC also run parties onsite and the ever popular Junior Keeper Experience!
